Interpol has placed former Minister of Energy and the Coal Industry Eduard Stavytskyi on the international wanted list.
A Red Notice on the ex-official is posted on the website of Interpol.
It contains the personal information about the suspect and three photographs.
According to the Interpol notice, Stavytskyi is suspected of "misappropriation, embezzlement, or conversion of property by malversation, if committed in respect of an especially gross amount, or by an organized group."
The suspect is wanted by the judicial authorities of Ukraine for prosecution or to serve a sentence
Interpol asks anyone who has any information about this person to contact his local or national police.
As Ukrainian News earlier reported, Ukrainian law enforcement agencies lost track of Stavytskyi on February 27.
